Burger King has the widest wobble

Burger King is the only brand here with a real location spread: its priciest store is 6% above its cheapest. The basket is €28.65 in Lusk, Dublin, and €30.25 in Ballycoolin, Dublin, while the Whopper® is €6.95 everywhere.

Supermac's goes fully national

Supermac's prices are identical across all 106 stores compared. Its basket sits at €28.90 everywhere, and the Chicken Snack Box is €9.25 wherever you find one.

KFC keeps it locked

KFC is also same-price-everywhere across 36 stores compared. The basket is €29.40 nationwide, with the Zinger Burger at €7.95 in every location shown.

Popeyes is the consistency champ

Popeyes is named the most consistent on this map, with its priciest store 0% above its cheapest. The basket is €29.35 in Naas, Kildare, and €29.46 in Dublin, Dublin, with the Classic Chicken Sandwich running €7.95 to €7.99.

Supermac's owns the pin count

How the index works

Every day we check the menu at every US restaurant of each chain, using the same ordering app its customers use, and record each item's pickup and delivery price. Restaurants are compared on a basket of items that every full-menu restaurant of that brand sells, so a comparison is never skewed by a missing item. Restaurants with a limited menu, and prices that are clearly a menu code error, are left out of comparisons. "Typical" means the median restaurant.
